“ Grabbed lunch after a doc appt. Service was really good and Emma Nur was a one person show! She took really good care of us and offered a apple juice and some fresh house made bread with chili oil to start off. Our 18 month old son enjoyed the bread and hummus. We ordered the mixed grill and the meats very really good. The house made bread/naan blended really well with the meats. Menu items on the expensive side due to location.. but worth it if you ask the right questions and order the right things. House made Baklava was really good and not like store made with lots of sugar. 50 lunch for 2 with gratuity.. but well worth it and will go back. Wife loved the food as well.. 5/5 ”
“ This has been my go-to Mediterranean restaurant. The food there is always spectacular, I've tried a lot of things on the menu and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is great too. Especially during the summer sitting on their patio is great. They have grape vines above you and it's very pretty. The owner, and chef are also so nice. They always provide the best service, and are extremely friendly. ”
“ I really love Leyla, it's one of my and my girlfriend's favorite restaurants. Beautiful decor with a gorgeous courtyard with living plants that the owner painstakingly takes care of, excellent service, excellent food. Everything's great but our favorites(so far) are the fresh bread they bring out with the oil and tomato dip, the cold appetizer for 2, the baked eggplant, and the chicken thighs. Really delicious and healthy Mediterranean food. ”
“ Fantastic experience! Absolutely amazing, beautiful, delicious food and the patio was enchanting with the grapevines overhead. Emma was so nice and we are so glad we came to dine here- would highly recommend. A perfect restaurant. ”
“ Absolutely amazing food! We went as a family and started with an array of dips, warm pita and bread. It was fantastic. We then moved on to the most delicious shared meat platter and baked eggplant. I could eat the baked eggplant every day! The meats were flavorful and plentiful. We ended with trying each of the desserts. The pudding was a great mix of almond, cinnamon and vanilla. The baklava was warm and dripping in honey. A true treat. Do not skip this gem! ”
“ The food here is amazing. The chef special was a lamb shank; the meat was falling off the bone. This was honestly the best lamb I've ever had! After dinner, we had the baklava, and it was such a great experience. It was so rich and tasty that I forgot that I was already full. 10/10 would highly recommend. ”
“ I love this location. They do have the most delicious Mediterranean dishes. the atmosphere is very cozy and the team is outstanding. I have been to many Mediterranean restaurants in DC, New York, Chicago but Leyla is the best. Make sure to order their appetizers it is very delicious and freshly made. We also had a kebab platter, my husband and I enjoyed it very much. Also, they have Kurdish coffee yummy! Will come back! ”
“ First time visit during a slow time yielded absolutely great conversation with three employees plus a knock your socks off meal. Splitting one appetizer and one entree between two of us was plenty. Food was of high quality. We definitely will return! ”
